If you’re like me and hate the majority of crap that is being made by movie companies here in the states, You try to look else where to find films that actually are worthy of entertaining your precious mind.

1 of the recent films I have seen that are worth watching are Old Boy. My Brother recommended me this to me…

It was released in Korea in 2003, and has gain statues of a cult classic.  Chang-wook Park directed this twisted tale of imprisonment and revenge.

Its pointless for me to tell you the plot and so-on, because it will only ruin the movie for you. Netflix it or check out Sundance channel on demand if you have cable.

Its a bit long and involving so just prepare yourself for sweet flick..

Athletic Bilbao into Europa Playoff!

Norway’s Tromso team will play Athletic Bilbao in the fourth round pre-match of the new Europa League…

After losing the first leg at home vs BSC Young Boys 1-0, and facing being knockout very early “not good since Athletic has not been in european action in over 4 years”…

Things turned around as Athletic’s Lions feasted and won the match 2-1, the Heros of the match were Fernando LLorente and the youngster Iker Muniain.

I know me and my Kind are pumped to see Athletic show their football on the european stage… Lord wills Athletic will

make into the main tournment.

Soup from the Basque Land “Euskadi Herria”

Basque food in general is good!  It has contributed to the cuisines of  Espana, France, Mexico, and other Iberian American countries that received basque immigrants.

Basque Food is simple but with favor… a few ingredients can go along way when done right…

Porrusalda… a tasty potato and leek soup.

If you can screw up making this then you probably should stay out of the kitchen…

Yes, there are variations to making this…some add egg, peppers, and cod fish, omit the meats and chicken broth and it can be made for a veg head, too,  but since this is the way I make it, so then this is the way you will make it.

chicken broth= either the ol fashion way or the swanson way.. straight out the can.

4 cans… the big ones. 32 oz

Potatoes= whatever kind you like… 8-10 chopped into 1/4 sized pieces…

Leeks= big ones… 4-5, chopped thick

Bacon or Sausages= whole package… Fry on the side.

Olive Oil= how ever much you use to gently fry

Salt and Pepper= to your taste

Basic…  throw potatoes and leeks in a big soup pot…. put olive oil and begin to brown them, don’t burn the leeks, ok

then You add the Chicken Stock…. and cover… check to see how the potatoes are softening up, fork tender.

While that’s going on… Fry the Bacon or the sausage and then crumb into small pieces…

Uncover and taste… add some salt and some pepper

Serve in a bowl add the Bacon/sausage bits on top and eat.

So simple but very tasty…

Nothing can stop you from adding or using your imagination when it comes to cooking, so add something if you want and let me know how it went…

Its a known fact here in the USA,  Soccer is only a kids game and honestly nobody cares about the US soccer period!

I got to agreed… the MLS is weak and US mens national team plays some of the most boring soccer around, minus the womens side who can actually win games.

What chaps my ass is how writers like Martin Rogers have jobs as sports writers… Maritn writes crap and lies to the so called “american soccer” fan.

“Oh US mens team loss 20-0 to Malta today but I am Martin Rogers, I have to save the face of american soccer and write some kind of crap on why they loss.

“Well the sunshine was bright and the rotation of the earths magnetric field was in favor of Malta, who were playing with super natural powers.” Eat it up American Soccer Fans.

I know Martin Rogers is kissing american booty, first of all because he writes for yahoo sports and then Because He is a Brit living in the USA.

Hey.. Roger nobody is going to kick your pasty ass for writing anything bad about US soccer! You might piss off the 10 people who read your  garbage, but who cares.

Martin personally leads the production in the US soccer excuse machine… whenever something bad happens, Martin will be here to play in down or make some kind of excuse why they suck.

I understand the Media in general with always spread the news they want to spread, or are told to spread, but when it comes to sports…  its just a game.
